How do I start a download?+
Install VideTool, copy a public media URL, open the download page, and add the link to a task.
Can I download several links at once?+
Yes. Use the batch download page to add multiple public links and monitor them in the queue.
Which output formats are available?+
Downloads can be saved as MP4, MP3, or JPG cover art. Local conversion supports additional audio and video workflows.
Can I select 2K or 4K?+
When the source page provides those qualities, VideTool can show them as available options.
Where are files saved?+
The output directory is configurable in the Windows client. Each tool keeps its results in its own subfolder.
Why can a public page fail?+
Platforms can change page structure, region rules, or availability. Network conditions and access permissions also affect results.
Why is my converted file large?+
Higher resolution, bitrate, and less compression create larger files. Choose a lower quality or resolution when needed.
Can I use VideTool on a phone?+
The website is mobile-friendly, but the client is currently for Windows 10 and Windows 11 only.
